Merry Go Round Quilt

 

 

This is simple enough to draft. Draw one fairly large hexagon and then six squares coming off the sides. Join the edges of the squares with lines to create the triangles.

 

Number the pieces so that you sew them together in order. That way you can be certain to have perfect points.

 

 

You only need to work with three squares, one hexagon and two triangles at any one time. You can see in the picture above how they fit together. Fill any extra squares and triangles as needed later on..
