Quilting - Introduction

Full size patchwork has been my passion for the last couple of years or so.

My millennium project 'Scrap Happy' comprised 25,000 mini hexagons. Swopping English minis magazines across the internet for people's scraps means that I probably have nearly 18,000 unique pieces of material in the quilt. The back comprises 2,500 pieces and the coloured section is pure charm, with no duplicates. There are close-up photos of the entire quilt.

I have made another full size hexagon quilt with larger pieces and around 30 main colours, and lots of one-off pieces. My only criteria for that quilt was that there were only flowery materials in it.

I have nearly finished a variation on a Dear Jane quilt (Great Jane) - for once I worked with larger pieces than everyone else. To see the original quilt go to:

I am currently working on a Merry Go Round quilt (again by the English Paper Piecing method).
