Profile of Betti Brike

I began my miniature pursuits 25 years ago, by creating 5 inch high,
charactor mice in 168 different styles. Because I never seemed to be able
to find the accessories to accent them, I made them myself. Thus, when I
finally got into dollhouse miniatures, I found that I am most happy making
accessories and all the things which dress up a vignette or boxroom.

My husband has built several dollhouses for me, but space became a problem and
now, boxrooms have taken priority over buildings.

Mini Mine Miniatures evolved through the grapevine and through my
membership in mini clubs and attending miniature events and shows.

I am a self taught miniaturist and have taken some workshops whenever they have
been available. Fimo charactor dolls have also been a challenge to me, but
I always seem to return to creating the little things which make a home!
Our two children grew up and left the nest, but I stayed behind to play!!!
