Hi, I am Marianne van Beelen. It is nice to see you and thanks for visiting my site.
Something about me and my work.

I have been crafting and making things for a long time. My first loves were greetingscards , knitting, cross-stitch, collecting and making teddy bears and dress all kinds of dolls.

Then I found health problems made things harder and harder so knitting, stitching and sewing had to go. I concentrated on the greetingscards and published how to articles about them. Also I combined card making and bear making techniques creating my Furry Friends cards. ( read about them and the book I wrote on the site).

Then I discovered dollhouses and miniatures , a whole new and wonderful world. I learned to knit and crochet in 1/12th scale and found this caused a lot less joint and muscle problems than full scale work. I started to dress little mini babies and even sold some.

Out went the fur fabric and in came chenille stems. These enable me to make teddies again. A new range of Furry Friends was born : Miniature teddies and bunnies .

I still do some greetingscards and other crafts but slowly miniatures are taking over my life and my site. I hope I will be able to make them for many years to come and that they will keep bringing smiles to everyone who looks at them.
