The
instructions for this type of quilt can be found in Marge Edie's excellent
book on making Bargello quilts.
I fused the material onto a backing material. There are no seams as
they would be virtually impossible. I found that the pieces lifted
slightly but by machining simple grid quilting through every piece
they are anchored safelyand the raised material now gives a lovely
textured look to the whole quilt. |

the merry go round quilt that I am doing full size and can be seen

SUDOKU QUILT
Here's a way of combining two hobbies in one.
Take nine fabrics, a completed grid (or just take the solution to
yesterday's grid!), and replace numbers with fabrics. Just make
sure you sew them together in the right order..... |
