was the first rug that I made. I did it on 14 count canvas so that
I could sew it while travelling, without the need for a magnifying
lamp.

This
bright red/green rug is a bit dazzling on the eyes, but is perfect
for a Christmas floor covering. Sewn on 14 count, it is a variation
of the pink/blue rug above. I have stitched this rug twice - the first
time with both red and green threads, but I realised that by buying
green canvas I could save half the work and have a textured rug into
the bargain. |
A
work in progress - another variation on the above rug, again on
14 count - easier to travel around with, and will cover almost the
entire floor of a room, unlike the more-to-scale hearthrugs on finer
canvas. |
